OUR BEGINNING
We started Learning Circle on 28 Apr 2005. Ours was a modest beginning with only eight students. We wanted to start tuitions which will help students overcome the challenges which they face in senior classes. With a background of having taught in schools for many years one did have empathy for the struggle that a child goes through at this crucial stage of his or her life. The institute has grown since then and today we reach a strength of fifty students every year. To start with we used to advertise, but now we rarely do so and depend upon word of mouth information through our existing and past students. We always try to keep true to our promise as given in our Vision and Mission statements on our home page. The bottom line is 'always keep the interest of the student first'.
FEELING OF DEEP SATISFACTION
In many cases when students come to us we feel that they, for some reason, have a casual approach towards studying. We find that they are not regular in doing their homework and are not thorough in their work. They have a tendency to miss tests. It is obvious to us that they are performing much below their real potential.
While they are with us it gives us immense and deep satisfaction to see their attitude towards studies undergo a change. Some of the changes which we have noticed in many of our students are listed below:
- They start doing their homework.
- They start giving tests.
- There is an improvement in the efficiency of their answers
- Speed of answering improves.
- They become more serious about giving tests.
- They become more truthful about not being able to do something.
- They start performing better in school.
As teachers; this change in students is always a source of deep satisfaction and inspiration to do still better.
We have no favourite students. For us all students are equal. In this way the participation of each student becomes equal.
THE BEST COMPLIMENT WE GOT FROM A PARENT
"We wish we had come to your institute earlier. The regular tests with prompt and thorough checking and regular feedback is making a lot of difference",
BEST COMPLIMENT WE GOT FROM A STUDENT
One of our students rang us up from his school to share his marks. He had done better than ever before.
